Pricing & Estimating
Pricing is a distinct discipline from accounting. Accountants manage the money on contracts we already hold; pricers build the cost volumes that help win the next one. This small, high-leverage team develops pricing strategy and cost estimates for competitive government proposals, models scenarios, and works the line between what is compliant, what is competitive, and what is executable.
The Work
You’ll build and defend pricing models, partner with contracts, finance, and program leads during capture, and apply AI to accelerate cost build-ups and scenario modeling so you can focus on the strategy and judgment that make a proposal both compliant and competitive.
Who You Work With
You’ll support users at every level of STR, from engineers who need their classified environments to work reliably to the back-office teams running finance, contracts, and HR on the enterprise side. You’ll partner closely with the information-security team that accredits the systems you administer, and with the DevSecOps and infrastructure engineers who depend on the platforms you maintain.
What We Look For
Systems or network administration experience and comfort supporting cleared environments; Security+ and CISSP are valued. Clearance requirements span the full range, up to TS/SCI with polygraph for classified-systems roles.
